[[The moonis 94% full, so, meh posting it. AND this won't be open until all of the high ranks are put up.]]
The sky lay still as the last cloud drifted by on a breese that would cease for the rest of the night. Silence, only broken by the full moon, and all the stars that danced around it. A grieving face appeared from the undergroth, and it climbed the clearing and appeared in the center of the clearing. It was the same grieving face, that had lead WindClan for many moons. This face, was of Griefstar. The she-cat sat and and glanced behind her. She was looking for her deputy, Hawkflight.
[[I'm sorry, I don't think this is going to work... unless the Clans were struck by sickness, there is absolutely no excuse! Only three cats in WindClan accepted?! Come on... grrr I don't want to wait untill next month guys! This will continue the next day too. Maybe... unlesss I delete it!]]

Haekflight wandered onto the Gathering island, her paws tired than normal. She was hoping to see Cottenpelt or Cinderleaf so she could ask them about Bloodkit and Boulderkit. She looked around in the empty island. Where is everybody? she wondered aloud.

[[I know, But there are only three cats! Oh, I know what to do... Waterpaw Cinderpaw Ivorypelt Graytail Flowerfur The 'Paw' thing, is because I am going by v1 alegences]]
Griefstar was looking in the wrong direction as Hawkflight came up to the left of her. Griefstar half smiled, but it faded quickly. She was in no mood to smile, she has never been, but more recently, she feels more empty than ever... The she cat glanced Hawkflight up and down. She looked tired, "I was wondering the same thing... I hope nothing is wrong. It is a tail flick away from being Moonhigh." She mrrowed softly. She leaned to the side, and cranked her head around Hawkflight to see who was trailing behind. There seemed to be no one, "Where did every one go? They were suppose to be following..." She twiched her ear, getting anxchus and a tad paranoid.

Hawkflight shrugged as she saw a gray shadow pass through the trees toward them.
Cinderfall passed through the trees, seeing her deputy and leader. The clearing was empty, so empty it was frightening. She wished that she had the comfort of Stonehawk there, but he wasn't.
Swiftstar bounded through the trees. He was late, but he could tell the other Clans were to. Seeing Greifstar, he dipped his head in respect. Sorry we are late. He meowed, Rushpaw had a thorn in his paw.

Leopardstar padded in shortly after Swiftstar. "Greeting Swfitstar. Griefstar. Sorry for being so late. We just got off on the wrong paw this morning," she greeted the others evenly, dipping her head briefly in respect and acknowledgement. Leaping up onto her perch in the normal tree she added silently, 'And every other morning lately....' She glanced once at Greifstar, wondering what was wrong, before quickly turning her head to look for the rest of her Clan.

[[The only accepted cats in ShadowClan are Tumblepaw, Foxpaw, and Darkstar. The only pending cats are Sunshinekit (?) Oakpaw, and Shadowfoot. Considering Darkstar and Shadowfoot are mandatory, that leaves Foxpaw, Tumblepaw, and Oakpaw available to go to the Gathering - and no warriors.

Cinderfall came, followed by Swiftstar. And before she could reply, Leopardstar appeared. The RiverClan leader quickly greeted Swiftstar and her, then jumped to her pearch on the branch. Griefstar dipped her head to Swiftstar and look far to where ShadowClan would be comeing. She wasn't getting on the Branch until everyone was here... Something was bothering Griefstar. Call it a leader's intuition, but Something wasn't going right. Something, was wrong. She puished it away, and went back to talking, "So you got the thron out?" She meowed, more amused then curius.

Viperpaw came bounding into the clearing after Leopardstar. He had been trying to keep up with her anxsious and swift pace, while the others were trailing behind slowly, as if they diddn't care, or had no desire to attend the gathering what so ever. He rolled his eyes. What ever, at least he was interested. Any valuble infomation from the other Clans, could be twisted, and turned negitively against them. Viperpaw stopped before approaching the big branch, and twisted to see if the others were comeing. He thrashed his tail. He diddn't see anyone! The white tom turned foward to face the stand, his eyes gleaming with anticapation. "When will Leopardstar get her act together? She used to have cats within her Claws... was haveing a mate letting her get soft? If I was leader, or, even deputy, I would wip her back into shape. Viperpaw thought with great irratation.

Sparrowfur padded towards the clearing, glancing around a little disdainfully. She spotted WindClan's deputy, and all the leaders for ThunderClan, RiverClan, and WindClan. ShadowClan appeared to be late - again? Did they disrespect StarClan or something? Oh well, the warrior was sure they had their reasons. She shrugged it off and padded over towards one of WindClan's younger warriors. The whole forest seemed a little scatterbrained this moon.
Nightfall padded carefully around the clearing. It was her second Gathering as warrior, so she knew the ropes, but the younger warrior was still a little frightened at the multitude of cats. ...Or at least, what should be a multitude of cats. Apparently several warriors were still coming and at least a Clan seemed to be missing. She spotted the leaders talking and one of the senior warriors of RiverClan, Sparrowfur, padding towards another WindClan cat. The black she-cat paused near a large tree - not the one the leaders stood on, and simply began to observe.
Darkstar sprang across the log, strolling jauntily towards the Gathering Island. He glanced behind him once or twice, to make sure that the chosen cats were following. Having reached solid land, he meandered his way towards the three leaders. "Hello, Swiftstar, Griefstar, Leopardstar," he greeted casually. The strong ShadowClan leader gave no reason for his lateness; in fact he gave no acknowledgment to the fact at all. He dipped his head cordially and leaped onto the branch above them. It was not quite time to start the Gathering yet, apparently, but the leader enjoyed the feeling it gave him to tower above everyone else.

Ivorypelt slid gracefully into the clearing after her leader. She wandered before settling as close to Griefstar as she felt respectful. Her tail twitched and she saw how uneasy the WindClan leader was. She bit her tongue to stop a flow of senseless words and questions. This was not the place to treat Griefstar like a kit. No where was. What's wrong with you Ivorpelt? She can handle herself. she thought angrily. Now that Iceclaw had stopped meeting her at border and she rarely knew where her mate was, she had been reduced to trying to mother one of her oldest friends? Ivorypelt sighed and shook herself back to the Gathering. ~~~ Leopardstar looked down at Viperpaw. So he was the only cat here so far? Where were the others?! She would tear Brackendrop's ear off if he didn't hurry. How would she look, strike that, how would her Clan look with her deputy turning up late or not coming at all? It was bad enough that the others were being so sluggish. The spotted leader glanced once more at Viperpaw and.. oh! There was Sparrowfur. Well at least she had two cats here. She turned slowly back to her fellow leaders. ~~~ Treeleg followed after Darkstar slowly into the clearing. She looked around somewhat unsurely. Hm. Not very many cats. The gray tabby sat down and curled her tail dantily around her paws. Her eyes darted around as she looked for a cat to talk to.

Brackendrop padded into the clearing , followed by a waltzing Sunpaw. Come on you mousebrain. the deputy hissed, his sapphire blue eyes rolling.
Sunpaw waltzed into the clearing, his tail high and his eyes full of happieness, but the ginger tom had no clue why. What is wrong with me? he wondered, hearing the deputy's annoyed remark.
Foxpaw dragged his paws slowly into the clearing. One more moon as an apprentice come and gone. he muttered.
Cinderfall rested her head on her paws. She was borad and wanted to be at camp more than she did with the deputy and leader. She looks nervos. the gray she-cat thought looking at her leader. Then again, she is always worried about something.

Leopardstar sighed in relief as she saw Brackendrop and Sunpaw join the cats in the clearing. She looked at all her fellow leaders and to the small gathering of cats below. "Should we just get started?" the golden she-cat asked the other three leaders, a sigh underlining her words.

[[lol, yah, she seems to be. Remeber the plan Hawk... bwahahaha]]
A pair of amber eyes glowed in the shadows, on the far end of the clearing. A blood sifting, ear curlting smile, clawed misheviusly to the suface of her face, streching nearly eye to eye. Those mouse-brained fools... She stepped up from her previus crouching position. All night of wauting, she knew. Tonight was the night. The Clans were too jumbled up to be checking their borders... or at least, one Clan. With a flick of the she cats tail, the Black and White dappled she cat turned and bounded off the island. Swifttail, was never there. [[bwahaha]]
Griefstar shifted [[sifted and shifted are different words!]] Her weight side to side, anticapating the apperence of Blackstar. And then, he came. His pelt gleaming black, his white throut and belly seemed almost gray in the moonlight.[[from v1 he is Blackstar, as in, Blackheart. Sorry if you changed lol. Thenm it would be Darkstar.]] Treeleg followed shorty after him. Griefstar dipped a short hello as he lept atop the branch. A nervus glance esacped her eyes as she glanced breifly at Swiftstar. Should I wait? She thought to herself. No, lets just get this gathering over with. She decided. With hesatation pulseing through her ears, she lept onto the branch. Inexpliably, her eye caught on something. Something, lurking in the shadows of a tree just before leading out into the lake. A pair of amber eyes. But, as quickly as it appeared, it evaportated. Griefstar shrugged it off as simply, nothing. It was just her paranoia. And Griefstar still ached with the same feeling as she came with. More and more the past moon, she felt like she was being watched, being... studied. It was a unshakeable, ill feeling. A humid fog getting thicker by the hour, and it was getting hard to breathe. Griefstar narrowed her eyes to keep to the present, and the gathering. She flicked her gaze directly at Leopardstar, "Shall you start?" She meowed flatly, trying hard to not show the iratation that she felt with herself. Why couldn't we have just skipped this gathering... She thought.
Oakpaw stumbled quickly after his mother, Treeleg, and his leader Black/Darkstar. Oakpaw was going to prove that he was ShadowClan material, what ever it takes. Because, he was strong. But, only his brother Foxpaw saw that now... Oakpaw padded to a spot near Treeleg, an sniffed around for Foxpaw. He diddn't remeber whether he had come or not. But the blind tom had perfected a hunting technic, and wanted to show Foxpaw after the gathering.

Swiftstar lept onto the branch. A lot of cats are missing. he thought, his minds swiching to the bisunuss ahaed of him. Let the cats of all Clans gather beneth the Great Branch for a Gathering. he yowled, his call echoing around the island. Leopardstar, would you like to go first? he asked the RiverClan she-cat.
Brackendrop padded to his spot benteth the Great Branch next to Hawkflight. Flicking his tail in greeting, the bracken tom rested his head on his paws, listening to the news.
Sunpaw, who was talking to Rushpaw, looked up as the ThunderClan leader called the familer summons. Not seeing the aulburn tom comming up behind him, the ginger tom flicked his tail to his nose, to signal the ThunderClan apprentice to save the thought till after.
Crack. The sound of a cracking branch made Cinderfall sit up, her eyes full of start. What was that? she wondered aloud, seeing a moving shadow away from the island.((Swifttail was spotted ))
((WHERE IS THUNDERCLAN?!?))

Leopardstar looked at both leaders. She kept back a sigh. She didn't want to go first. RiverClan had no good news. And she would tell no other Clans about their bad news which meant no news. "If you wish," she finally replied, turning to face to gathering cats. ~~~ Treeleg's ears pricked and she glanced at Oakpaw. "Come on Oakpaw," she purred softly and herded her son closer to the leaders.

Morningwhisker slipped into the clearing, before glancing cheerfully at the cats already there. The leaders were on the branch, apparently the Gathering was started. She calmly padded closer to the leaders, before sitting herself next to Treeleg, one of ShadowClan's warriors. She gave a smile and nodded towards the older she-cat, before settling herself in wait for the leaders.
Breezefall padded through the clearing, regarding the leaders sitting upon the Gathering branch. She looked around for the other medicine cats, who seemed to be missing at this Gathering. The she-cat kneaded her paws slightly, frowning a little, and wished she were able to skip a Gathering as well. With half the cats off to the island, it would be free reign for Breezefall along the WindClan territory.
Darkstar nodded towards the RiverClan leader as she turned to speak to the cats. He mulled over what he had to say to the Clans. Not much, it was a fact. Stealing from RiverClan seemed so long ago, it was difficult to tell if Leopardstar would recall it and mention it to the Clans. What with the appearance of RogueClan and the fights that had gone on, he somewhat doubted it. Meanwhile ShadowClan had little to do with RogueClan. So far they had not bothered them, and ShadowClan had not bothered RogueClan. Not much of a treaty, but it would do for the time being. They were safe; why wasn't that only what mattered to the Clan? Why did they have to think so much?

[duuuude. Griefstar JUST asked Leopardstar that x3]] Oakpaw glared at his mother breifly, but did not protest. He diddn't want to be too close to all the other cats... Everyone was giveing up on Oakpaw; Saying what a poor dear he was, and that he was so sad. Then when he turns the corner, they treat him like a kit. He is nearly 13 moons. Instead of treating him like a new warrior, with respect and praise, they only glare at him, as if he were a lost cause. "What was that?" Came the voice of a WindClan cat. Oakpaw pricked his ears. There was something there, no, more than a something. It was a someone. Oakpaw sniffed the air, but there was no luck. What ever this cat was, it was smart enough to stay downwind of them. But why would it be spying on a gathering? But then, Oakpaw felt Treeleg's hot stare burn through his pelt, and he dropped the topic. The leaders began to speak amungst theirselves. This was a rivating experience, though he couldn't see them. The smells danced around his noes like a bird in a cage. Alas, This tom will never again see a gathering. The amount, and versousity of remourse that was in Darkstar's voice, was claw-wrenching. It, for some starnge reason, hurts his pride. Instead of an aset, he sees this blinde warrior as a weakness. But, there are underminding and sinister problems as to why this clearing would never be walked on by him... ever again. Oakpaw heard faint splashing, so faint, that might not have been heard. The small and dark figure dissapeared into the muky depths of the lake, not to be heard again.
Griefstar shuffled her paws, still unable to shake the feeling that burned inside of her. She struggled to keep with the group. But, thankfully, something caught her attention. It was Cinderfall. The new rank. She kept calling her Cinder"paw". "What was that?" Cinderfall thought aloud, but loud enough for almost everyone to hear. Griefstar glared down at the she-cat. Griefstar flicked her tail at her as to be quiet. Obviusly, the WindClan leader just wanted this to be over with, as quickly, and as painless as possible. No panic, no, "searching for what ever made whatever noise that her new warrior heard" Then The she-cat glanced back at the RiverClan leader, and dipped her head slightly for her to begin.

Leopardstar cleared her throat and made sure everyone was silent before she began. "As you all know, RougeClan has been stirring up touble. But it's nothing RiverClan has had any trouble handling it. Prey has been running fine despite the current low level of the river. That is all I have to say tonight..." she announced slowly, measuring each word carefully before she took a step back and dipped her head to Griefstar. ~~~ Treeleg glanced over at Morningwhisker and smiled softly before turning back to Oakpaw. She sighed softly. She felt bad for her son. Not because he was blind, but because his lack of sight prevented him from ever being veiwed as the wonderful ShadowClan tom he was. Her tail flicked and she turned back to the leaders when Leopardstar began to speak.

Seeing his brother, Foxpaw padded to an empty spot at the back of the cats watching the leaders. Oakpaw, he hissed, ignoring the call for silence.
Runningfrost sat next to his former mentor, would Swiftstar mention the disturbnce at the border that seemed like moons ago, or would he forget, just like he forgot that the sleek black and gray tabby tom was on patrol at moonhigh last eveing.
Sunpaw hissed at how Leopardstar forgot about the attempt of Snowblood attempting to cross the border, but then again, did she know?
Ruhpaw was barley listening to what the leader was saying. He was anxious to get back to his nice warm nest in the ThunderClan camp.
Cinderfall thingyed her head toward her leader, anxious to hear what she had to say.
Hawkflight watched as the Gathering began and her brother sat next to her, with only a flick of the tail as a greeting. Making sure the RiverClan deputy was paying atteniton to her, her tail tapped him on the shoulder. Your not leaving till we talk. she whispered in a tone so that only he could hear, since the other deputies were oddly missing.
Swiftstar watched as Leopardstar gave her Clan's news, and waited for the WindClan leader to annouce their news.

((Sorry about your post, Swift... Glare at your cousin for a time for me, ok?))
Darkstar nodded as the RiverClan leader addressed the problem that was affecting the other Clans. Suddenly, the large tom's mood changed as he realized that the other Clans would say something about RogueClan - and then Darkstar would say nothing at all. After a moment, however, he relaxed again. It would only prove that ShadowClan was strong and smart. The other Clans couldn't complain, it wasn't their decision. He caught Swiftstar's glance and turned himself towards Griefstar, indicating it was her turn.
"What was that?" murmured Cinderfall, as if to herself. Sparrowfur turned slightly, glancing curiously at the younger warrior. The gray she-cat had heard nothing. Judging by the eye flicks towards Cinderfall, Sparrowfur assumed that she was not the only one who heard that. However, the air of the whole Gathering changed and became more tense, as if something were happening that nobody was really sure of and that nobody wanted to acknowledge.

[[I'm sorry, I was being a big baby about this. I made a new skin so now I am happy ^^ lol, the scrambled one xD -glares at cuosin twice- grr I have to go]]
Edit;; Griefstar shufled her paws, still unable to shake the haunting thought from her head. She was struggleing to stay with the cats, as she was getting lost in her thoughts; consumeing her troubled mind. But then, something draged her back to reality. It was Cinderfall, she seemed to have heard something, "What was that? The She cat murrmered aloud. Griefstar was iritable already, and cats seemed to be looking at Cinderfall. She wasn't going to have, "Oh lets go look for the noise that Cinderfall thought she heard" Not that that would happen, but, she doesn't want a big deal made out of it. Leopardstar finished, and dipped her head to the WindClan leader; signaling that it was her turn. Grifstar stepped up, and glared at Cinderfall. As if to say, 'None of this nonsense'. She diddn't want to be here. Her stomach was oozing unease as she began her speaking, "The past few moons, WindClan has been noticeing that the ShadowClan border has been paculearly active; and then two of my patrols found traces of ShadowClan scent on our side of the border," She paused, narowing her eyes at the cats below her. Though, she diddn't bother even glanceing at the ShadowClan leader, "Just because of the little 'insadent' a moon ago, doesn't mean that WindClan freelances, and doesn't check their own borders!" She choked down the hiss the rumbled in her throut, "So, if there are any cats caught on our border, doesn't matter what Clan your from, there will be consequences." She took a breath in, and softly added, "We also have some new ranks amoung our Clan," She nodded briefly tward Cinderfall, "And prey is running smoothly. There haven't been problems getting herbs, and. That is all I have to say." She meowed. Taking a step back, she nodded to Swiftstar.
The leaders called for silence, and the gathering began. As an erri silence gripped the clearing, a small voice sounded from behind him, "Oakpaw" The blind tom's ear perked foward, then, relized that it was comeing behind him. He twitched his ear behind him, and heard the shifty paws of his brother, Foxpaw. Oakpaw perked his ear foward again, and heard no movement from his mother. He kept in a sitting position, and inched backwards. Once behind Treeleg, he turned and scampered to where Foxpaw was, "There you are, I was wondering where you were." He whispered as he positioned himself next to the fox-pelted tom.

Swiftstar nodded. ThunderClan is recovering well after RougeClan's attack. Our boarders are holding, and ThunderClan is thriving in prey as well as soon to be new warriors and apprentices. We have had small skirmishies with RougeClan, but nothing to damaging. The ThunderClan leader stepped back, allowing Darkstar to step forward.
Cinderfall listened with the faintest interest in what the leaders were saying, her ears were more foucused on the two apprentices who were sitting on the edge of the clearing
Rushpaw looked around. Although that he was one of the few apprentices there, he still fluffed up his fur. He'd be talking about me. he meowed quietly, ignoring the glare from his father.
I don't think your a new apprentice, mousebrain, Sunpaw mewed fairly softly.

Darkstar twitched his ears and looked surprisingly at Griefstar as she accused ShadowClan of crossing into their territory. He opened his mouth slightly, but Swiftstar spoke before the black tom could defend himself. Finally, it was his turn and the leader again twitched his ears.
"ShadowClan is thriving," he announced the the cats, his voice echoing along the island. "Many of our apprentices are ready to become warriors and we continue to stay strong." He turned towards Griefstar. "You say you smell ShadowClan within your borders." He paused. "ShadowClan has no need to be on WindClan territory. I would doubt that any of my cats would cross over the border, but there will be consequences if I find they have." He gazed at the cats. "If you do catch someone, I would ask that any ShadowClan cats you find on WindClan should be brought to me. ShadowClan is my responsibility." He ended abruptly, but the gaze in his eyes said it all: 'We are not weak, and do not mistake us for it.'
Again Darkstar gazed down at the cats, then he ducked his head. "That is all ShadowClan has to report."
Tumblepaw got up suddenly. The Gathering was not officially over, but the yellow apprentice was far too bored to care. He moved over to his brother's. It was just the toms of the litter, and Tumblepaw viewed it as "bonding time" as far as bonding time went with the siblings. Having reached Foxpaw and Oakpaw, he meowed at them. "Hey guys." It wasn't too loud, but loud enough that all the cats could hear him speak. Looking up, however, the apprentice saw his leaders glaring at him, as if he had done something wrong. Immediately, the tom back behind his brothers. -- Morningwhisker glowed up at Swifstar as he reported, then turned to Darkstar as he began. The black leader denied any crossing of WindClan's territory. Then he ended with a bit of an aggressive glare, but ended on a relatively good note. Morningwhisker glanced around. Was it the end of the Gathering already? -- Sparrowfur narrowed her eyes at the cats. It was a simple Gathering, with only the hanging tension to bother anything. Yet the gray warrior seemed distraught. She looked at Darkstar and at Leopardstar. Her chance... it seemed so close, yet again any other Clans seemed to have done nothing wrong. However loyal Sparrowfur may be, she wanted to be leader, badly. Then she would only have to be loyal to herself. But the forest seemed happy... except RogueClan. Was that the chance she was looking for?
Nightfall stretched in her sitting position. It seemed an ending point for the Gathering, and she was ready to head back to RiverClan. If nothing was wrong, what was the point of hanging around?

Leopardstar looked at the other leaders and then around the clearing. Gathering had been exceptionally short. "So... is there anything else before we bring this moon's Gathering to an end?" she called out. ~~~ Treeleg frowned slightly. Darkstar had been so hostile in announcing the Clan news. The other leaders had been on the defenece as well. Did the rising tension have anything to do with RougeClan? Or was it something else... "Is Gathering over?" she asked, turning to Morningwhisker.

Swiftstar stood up, ready to close the Gathering, but he sensed tension as the Gathering wound down. The black and white leader watched several cats rise and talk to Clanmates or freinds. Is this the beginning of a war? he wondered, hoping that he would be able to voice his concerns soon. ^^^ Rushpaw watched as Tumblepaw joined his brothers. Turning to Sunpaw he nodded, I guess your right. he meowed, his paw cuffing his freind's ear. It was a little hard for the apprentice to believe that Gatherings went that fast, normally, there were apprentices or warriors made, something important that was worth mentioning, but all that was said is 'The prey is running well'. Even Darkstar's harsh denial was normal. Why would any Clan leader admit that they are crossing borders, even if they are? he wondered aimlessly. Prehaps Talonkit would know, he does have a somewhat strong connection with StarClan. ^^^ Rowanfire looked at his former apprentice next to him. Runningfrost had been quiet the entire Gathering. Normally, the sleek gray and black tabby would make some sort of sharp comment, but something seemed wrong with him. He couldn't possibly be thinking about his sister's death. That was over a five moons ago, and the tom shouldn't be thinking about the past. Runningfrost. Rowanfire meowed, looking at his freind. When the tom didn't respond, the ginger tom tapped the tom on the shoulder ^^^ Runningfrost felt Rowanfire's tail tap his shoulder. I'm fine. he meowed, shaking his head. I was just thinking about why Greifstar would think that ShadowClan would be stealing their prey.^^^ Hawkflight was relived when the ShadowClan leader finished his annoucement. Flicking her tail for her brother to follow her, the she-cat dissapeared to a shadowed side of the Great Branch. When Brackendrop arrived behind her, her face was cross and stern. What is wrong with you? the WindClan tabby asked Nothing, the RiverClan deputy hissed, his claws unsheathing. Don't think you can fool me Brackendrop, Hawkflight hissed, responding to his offenceive gesture. Noramlly greet me with more than a tail flick. Brackendrop stepped back, his sharp claws glittering in the dimishing moonlight. So I should always greet you with more respect as if you were a leader, or my own Clanmate, well I think that you gave up that right moons ago.Hawkflight looked at her brother. Brackendrop, she said softly, her mew bearly aduitable. Your my brother, I would never, could never be a leader without your support. So, Brackendrop hissed, his tone harsh, Darkness is your brother too, and you don't need his support, so you don't need mine, besides, we are from rival Clans, so we can't support each other. Foget him, a voice whispered in Hawkflight's ear. Darkness will support you and you will become the greatest leader since Firestar, with my help.^^^ Foxpaw nodded to his brother as Tumblepaw padded up to the two toms. Hey Tumblepaw, the tom meowed, glancing over to see Hawkflight and Brackendrop padding behind the Great Branch. What do you think is up with Hawkflight and Brackendrop. I think they talk for moons at Gatherings, and they just went behind the Great Branch together.

"Is the Gathering over?" murmured Treeleg to Morningwhisker. The golden she-cat nodded hesitantly.
"I think so," she meowed. "It looks like none of the leaders have anything else to say." She smiled at the older warrior. "That apprentice that was with you, was that your kit?" She asked it somewhat quickly - liking kits as the she-cat did, she wanted to know before it was time to leave.

Tumblepaw's brother answered his greeting. The yellow apprentice nodded, then looked confused at Foxpaw's next words. "What do you think is up with Hawkflight and Brackendrop? I think they talk for moons at Gatherings, and they just went behind the Great Branch together." Tumblepaw shook his head.
"No idea," he replied, glancing at the two deputies. "Maybe deputy stuff?"

Griefstar finished. How dare she accuse ShadowClan of crossing- Oakpaw took a deep breath in. Oh yes, It was probably Cottenpelt. There was no way in StarClan that he was going to let that go. Never training him; Proveing to the Clan that he was a dissapointment. But sharp voices shook him from his thoughts. The scents carried RiverClan and WindClan. Brakendrop, Came the voice of the WindClan she-cat. He couldn't very much make out the words, but they sounded like.. Brother? The two voices went out of range. Oakpaw flicked his ears, still trying to hear what the two other cats were saying with such emotion to each other, "Well, their not in our Clan." The blind tom murrmured half heartedly, "So why should we care?" [[Hoolly cow, Oakpaw is really going down hill. Check his personality, then check this post O.O]]
^^^
Griefstar glared at the ShadowClan leader hostily, then announced, "The meeting is over," Her eyes still stuck on the tom, she finally wrenched them away. Her eye glittering with resentment, she lept off the branch with a purposely loud thud next to Hawkflight. Griefstar saw Brackendrop, the RiverClan deputy. She opened her mouth to question, but then shut it. She just wanted to leave There was something wrong! Then there was a faint rasping. Her eyes went wiide as they turned to many. Griefstar knew... The whispers had returned. The WindClan leader glared at her deputy, "We must leave, the gathering is over." She huffed. Griefstar then turned, and began trott tward her camp, it almost breaking into a run. Not even saying goodbye. Then, she disapeered into the bushes for a final time, never to be seen bye the other cats again.

Foxpaw shrugged. Tumblepaw, can you help me take Oakpaw out tomorrow to make sure that he is ready to be a warrior. the auburn tom whispered to his brother. ^^^ Hawkflight flicked her tail to Ivorypelt and Cinderfall, singaling for them to follow her. The dark tabby's ice blue eyes were clouded, with shadows of anger and frustration. The dark tabby's pelt blended into the undergrowth as she disappeared into the dark forest. ^^^ Cinderfall saw her deputy storm out from behind the Great Branch. Seeing the deputy flick her tail, the ash gray she-cat padded after her, glad that the Gathering is finally over. Seeing Rushpaw and Sunpaw, she flicked her tail in greeting, before dissapearing in the undergrowth. ^^^ Brackendrop watched as Hawkflight led the WindClan cats back to camp, following Greifstar. Not looking to see if Leopardstar was ready to leave, he stiffend up his shoulders and looked around at the cats still in the clearing. Nightfall, Viperpaw, Sparrowfur, Sunpaw, lets go. the bracken deputy meowed, his voice tense. ^^^ Rushpaw watched the WindClan cats leave, seeing Cinderfall flick her tail at him in greeting. She likes you, Sunpaw teased, shoving his freind playfully. If she did, then she would have came over to say hi at least. Rushpaw said, shaking his pelt and hearing the RiverClan deputy call his cats to leave. You better go. Rushpaw said, flicking his tail.

Ivorypelt glanced briefly around the Gathering again before dashing after Hawkflight and Griefstar. Something was wrong. Were all the Clans falling apart? she wondered before leaving. ~~~ Leopardstar watched WindClan depart. She glared a little at her deputy before she flicked her tail to signal that it was time to leave. "RiverClan! We're leaving!" she announced crisply before padding quickly out of the clearing. "You're not leader yet. I still am. Let me lead my Clan," she hissed in Brackendrop's ear before disapearing. It was bad enough how she was losing control as it was. But she didn't nead her deputy taking over. ~~~ Treeleg nodded, a little bit of pride shining through. "Yes. Oakpaw. And then his brothers, Foxpaw and Tumblepaw are here somehwere," she replied in a soft purr.

Sparrowfur turned to follow her deputy out, then stopped as Leopardstar also yowled out for RiverClan to lead. She turned away from Brackendrop and dutifully followed her leader. Just a few more times, a bit more pushing... or would it work better if she showed more loyalty to the deputy and not the leader? Who could say?
Nightfall turned away from the branch, nodding a few goodbyes to some cats. She bounded after the rest of the Clan, mulling over how simple and yet so strange the Gathering had been. -- Darkstar bounded off the branch and turned towards the log leading off the island. "Back to camp, ShadowClan," he growled at the cats remaining. "We have a Clan to maintain."
Tumblepaw's eyes lit up at his brothers suggestion. "That's right! We'll be warriors soon!" He nodded in reply and playfully batted Foxpaw before turning towards the leader. "Good StarClan, I can't wait!" -- Morningwhisker blinked her eyes at Treeleg happily. "You must be happy with healthy kits," she meowed. "I'm sure they'll be fantastic warriors." Darkstar's yowl sounded and the golden she-cat turned slightly. "Was that for your Clan? Good talking with you." She dipped her head respectfully.

Oakpaw sighed, How do you know Darkstar will make me a warrior? Lately, he doesn't show much interest in me... and what if Cottenpelt says something? The tom shuffled his paws, I'm sorry, but it would be in vain. Any way, what help would I be? I can berly hunt. He glared in Darkstar's direction, but then recoiled his stare. His fight, or so to say, was with his mentor. It was with Cottenpelt.
