Sunpaw [Sunriver]
Everyone around me calls me Sunpaw, even those closest to me. I am around 12 moons, but it could be more or less, I don’t really know. As my name says, I am an apprentice, but I wish Leopardstar would make me a warrior. My Clan is the Clan that can swim the best and catch fish the best…RiverClan. I don’t know if my name sounds like a she-cat’s name, but I am a tom, so don’t call me a she-cat or I’ll rip your fur clean off.
My pelt is the color of the sun, a bright, and very handsome, ginger. My eyes are a very sharp ice blue, with maybe a very small, unnoticeable tint of amber or green, and they glitter like bright eyes in the shadow of the sun’s rays. My paws pads are a very dark shade of black, but they contrast my paws, a bright snow white. They conceal very sharp claws, that are sparkling silver after I clean them when I’m done hunting or fighting. I have three scars, all from a cat who just won’t leave my life. My left ear has a v-chip in it from the first day of battle training, and one of my back claws has the tip chipped off, due to the same cat. About a moon ago, the same cat gave me the diagonal scar on my right shoulder, thanks to a meeting while I was patrolling the borders. My tail tip is white, but the very tip looks like it was dipped in black ink. A loner said that my mother should have named me Inkpaw instead of Sunpaw. My right foreleg has a few dark brown spots that look like dried blood, but honestly, who leave dried blood on their pelt, even if they just finished a fight? I’m muscular, but not very. I’m more lithe and athletic than muscular.
I love patrolling with my Clanmates, but not my mentor because he doesn’t think that I’m ‘ready’ to be a warrior. I have a very small crush on Icepaw, but I don’t lose my head around her. The truth is that I like most of my she-cat Clanmates…whoops, that was supposed to be a secret. Once I’m a warrior, I wouldn’t mind having kits, eventually. I have a lot of energy, normally spent by hunting and patrolling. I love swimming during green-leaf, and I really don’t mind getting my paws wet. I am and always will be loyal to RiverClan and StarClan. Sometimes, I do wish I was a RougeClan cat, since then I could kill Snowblood or whatever. I am a very nice cat, and loyal to my friends, if you get to know me. I am worried that I’ll never become a warrior, if I don’t get my ceremony in the next moon.
I was born to Redclaw and Blackfrost, two RiverClan warriors. I had a sister, Starkit; she was a gray/ginger she-kit. When I was a few moons old, I met the kit of Hawkwing and Swiftwind, Snowkit. My sister and I were close with our parents and each other, and we were concerned when my father went missing the night before we were to be made apprentices, but he returned in the morning, as if nothing had happened. Not even a few hours later, at sunhigh, the camp came down with a horrible case of greencough, killing Redclaw, Blackfrost, Hawkwing, and Swiftwind. Starkit was severely sickened, so she was taken to the medicine cat’s den until she was better.
That night, Snowpaw snuck in to the medicine den, where I was keeping an eye on Starkit, and he shoved moss into her mouth and stepped onto her spine, cracking it. I woke up as the white tom was nudging the moss out of her throat. I saw the gleam of the medicine cat’s eyes as she watched in horror, but Snowpaw silenced her with a threat of taking her life as well as mine.
The next morning, we were training when I suggested we show off our new battle techniques in a mock battle. Snowpaw escladed the battle into a real fight of life or death. Suddnely I told him that if he thought that seeing my best friend kill my sister was enough to weaken my battle skills, he was wrong.
When we got back to camp, the leader heard the full story from me while Snowpaw was treated like a prisoner, and he was chased out of the Clan. A few moons later, when RougeClan attacked ThunderClan, I met him again, as Snowblood. At first, we had no clue that RougeClan was attacking until two bloodied ThunderClan warriors came running into our camp, asking for help. We helped, finally able to chase out RougeClan.
About a moon ago, Snowblood was caught trying to sneak back into our territory, and after a brief fight, I managed to chase him out.
